Jonathan D. Holland National Board Certified North and South Carolina Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer / Certified Crematory Operator

Jonathan D. Holland has been serving families in funeral service since late 2006. Born and raised in Union County he has been fortunate enough to meet and get to know people in the area. At the age of 5 he began helping his father with wedding photography and did so for many years and was able to build lasting relationships with many people. A graduate of Forest Hills High School, Jonathan continued his education at Fayetteville Technical College and obtained a degree in Funeral Service. From an early age he knew that he wanted to be in the funeral industry and began to work for Gordon Funeral Service immediately following high school and did so until the time that Holland Funeral Service and Crematory was founded. He is a member of the Monroe Kiwanis Club and Wingate Lions Club. Jonathan is an ordained deacon and attends Centerview Baptist Church. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Jana Knight Holland, together they have one daughter, Olivia and 5 dogs. In his off time, he enjoys spending time with his family and hunting. Jonathan feels that it is an honor to care for the families that we serve.

Garrett D. Holland National Board Certified North Carolina Funeral Director / Certified Crematory Operator

Garrett D. Holland was born and raised in Union County NC. A graduate of Forest Hills High School, Garrett continued his education at Fayetteville Technical College and obtained a degree in Funeral Service. Garrett is married to the former McKenzie Conner and they have 3 dogs: Jacks, Ella and Shadow. Garrett is a member of Lee Park Baptist Church. In his off time, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. Garrett is honored to be serving Union County.

Rachelle Kessinger National Board Certified North Carolina Funeral Director and Embalmer / Certified Crematory Operator

Rachelle Kessinger is proud to be a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Holland Funeral Service and Crematory. After graduating from Parkwood High School, she relocated to Nashville, TN where she obtained a degree in Mortuary Science from John A. Gupton College. Rachelle served her internship with West Harpeth Funeral Home in Nashville, TN before returning home to North Carolina. Rachelle is passionate about the funeral profession and is grateful for the opportunity to provide meaningful options and services to families in her community.

Jana Knight Holland Office Administrator

Jana Knight Holland is a lifelong resident of Union County and a graduate of Forest Hills High School. She continued her education at UNCC and obtained a B.A in Criminal Justice.  Jana is married to her high school sweetheart, Jonathan Holland, and together they have one beautiful daughter Olivia Holland. Jana is a member of Centerview Baptist Church and loves singing in the choir.  In her off time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and crafting. Jana is honored to be able to serve the families of her community.

McKenzie Jacumin Holland is a resident of Union County and currently resides in Wingate with her husband, Garrett Holland. After graduating high school, she continued her education at Wingate University and obtained a B.A.  in Psychology. McKenzie attends First Baptist Church in Wingate. In her off time, she loves spending time with family and enjoying the outdoors. McKenzie is honored to be serving Union County.
